Each Forest Kids album/EP/etc is a experimental journey through the realms of the universe. The songs typically are seamless and juggles several genres. The entirety of each release is a combination of each alias A-Z as well as a special story arc that will be parallel to the main story line.
Commodor 64 [single]
A Vaporwave inspired song, with several layers of percussion & instrumentation. Ever building arpeggios, echoed melodica, and warped breathy pads. As icy leads pop in and put, and contrast the bit-crushed and bombastic loops used. A glimpse at the next album.
Storefront - EP
"Storefront swims in a mellow, dance-catalyzing realm; entrenching, ethereal grooves cause a levitating, ambient effect. Illuminating the details held within one’s surroundings, while simultaneously inducing a peaceful state, the music naturally flows, revealing subtle, hallucinatory nuances along the way." - (The Deli Magazine - Philadelphia)
Written with the help of Tristan Jones on the title track Indian Graveyard & Rainy City (Leaving NYC). This was the beginning of the entire Forest Kids Universe and now the Collective. Using several field recordings and heavy processing in several programs. Indian Graveyard is certainly a trip & and good first step into the Universe.
