DIRECT-TO-DARK - Aqueous Vol. 1
First full release from DIRECT-TO-DARK. A mesh collection of liquid drum n bass tunes. A cumulation of everything the project has been building up to. Aqueous [Vol. 1] brings intricate and intense upbeat fast beats with a range of character. All the while projecting a laidback attitude and delivery. Written in the span of two years give or take. Songs are synth and pad heavy with melodic riffs and bass grooves. Knocking upbeat drum patterns and loops driving the songs into a cacophonous blend of sound. drum n bass n synth.

Now Why Would Anyone Soak a Rope In Kerosene
New DnB single from DTD. This tune features my new tongue drum that I'll be incorporating on some ambient tunes later on. Felt great to have it used in something full of energy. The contrast of the upbeat drums and percussion along with some punchy synth bass with the tongue drum was fun to produce; and sounds great. Full EP later this year. INTERACTIVE CO. Remix of “Your Very Own Cheese Pizza” is now available on streaming services.

Taking my first step into DnB and I gotta stay it's a lot of fun. Still figuring things out and experimenting with different elements and whatnot. But I'm really happy how this came out. Tight quick paced drums with multiple breaks and dips in intensity. Lots of fun dancing synths scattered in the background; paired some real heavy bass synth driving the track. Planning on a full EP release along with some ‘in-house’ remixes.
