This year consists of RANDEL .the ghost. with his warped and broken textures that make it seem that you're listening through some magical tape machine. Alongside Fever Aches. Having the whole record being composed of acoustic guitar this made sense to me. This is what it sounds like if you blend the simple acoustic guitar melodies from Fever Aches and the haunted dissonance of RANDEL .the ghost. you get this cacophonous cloud of sound. Themed and inspired by folklore, witchcraft and general spirituality.

Just trying something new, really wanted to take a stab at this style that I've fallen in love with over the past few years. Inspired by the Caretaker and The Shining. The theme of falling into madness is depressing and inspiring to me. Sampling old big band music, ballroom music and instrumental classics alike. I was able to warp and distort them into these unsettling pieces.

Experimental, lofi house remix of one of the tracks from "dream" by RANDEL the ghost. Cinematic ambient opening with haunting textures and SFX. Blaned completely reimagined the original repetitive piano tune, almost like he strapped wheels and an engine on such a stationary track. More remixes and collaborations with Blaned coming in the future.

dream
Solo piano performance turned into a dreamscape. I started by setting up a drum screen, music stands and cymbals around the grand piano at WRTI’s Performance studio. Played improvised for around 25 minutes alone at the studio. Took the performance and through similar editing like how I created “Dark Hearth” and “Ultisa”… “dream” was created. I’m very happy with out this album came out. It captures the exact deathdream / dreamtone sound I was aiming for.

Created from unreleased Imisu songs from 2017. Completely reworked through pitching and warping throughout the entire EP. Using dusty and gritty textures and elements to give it a haunted and broken feeling. Feels like you are waking up alone in a ruined future. The unnatural pitch bending mid ‘melodies’ gives off the feeling of uncanny broken tech. Cassettes will be available early next year via ATMO.

Old Deals (ft. Talplex)
A warped blurring of a few tracks mashed together. A small quiet welcoming Talplex & RANDEL .the ghost. into the collective. Minimal downtempo IDM beats, tape hiss, reversed samples, and blurry ghostly synths and piano. Old Deals is certainly an odd experience and blends in with everyday life too well.
