The groovy lofi heads of FKC come together to sun your soul. Quite a perfect collaboration of Suri's bright and lounge-like sax melodies with jazzy chords carrying the track. H A C E brings some light electric piano leads and plenty of background ear candy. Paired with some darker sounding sax lines as well. Also utilizing cityscape field recordings and with beach waves throughout.

Dinner with You:
laid back lounge tune from Suri Sunriser. Jazzy piano lead paired with some distant guitar grooves and melodies. The two compliment each-other like a slow dance over top of the farfisa/wurlitzer chords. All being glued together by a steady drum machine tight beat and light percussion.
Owl Lounge:
follow up to Rougelike ~ another laid back lounge tune from Suri Sunriser. Bringing back some vibes from "Beta Grounds" using dusty boom bap beats along side several different layers and textures of keys. The melodies build and catch up together throughout the track before light electric guitar steals the vibe with its small accompaniment, truly adds a lot to the track and is a great contrast from the key leads. Soft pads and bass guitar keep the song moving along slowly and smoothly.

Rougelike [single]
Moving into more lounge / jazzy territory with Suri; which is what this project was more so trying to be. Using locked in drum machine grooves, gritty Wurlitzer, and some smooth guitar licks and harmonics. Rougelike is the beginning of the true ark for this project.

Spying in the Desert
Sat on these beats for a few years when I was attempting to make instrumentals for hip-hop / rap artists. After a bit of touching up and a fresh master pass these tracks are alive again! Desert themed; hence using the eastern sounding string instrument in the opening track; as well as the choice in melody for the closing track. I believe these three tracks sit very nicely together; all are calm yet bright and gives a warm feeling.

Beta Grounds
Suri is back with some new music. Feels good to be writing for this project and not putting together cutting-room-floor tunes. A blend of jazzhop and lofi. With each song I tried to go for your 'not so conventional' lofi beats. Using some funky rhythms and grooves as well as some psychedelic synth elements peaking out here and there. Overall keeping that retro aesthetic blend of synths and guitars I implemented on the previous release. Including introducing new jazzhop elements on a track featuring H A C E.

PlotNights24
Songs I’ve had for years and have touched up multiple times along the way. You could say some are People Eating Fruit precursors. Mainly these songs consist of upbeat dance beats, some bit-crushed synths and soft strings, and a few experimental breaks. Suri’s sound is a mixture of the dancy/chaotic nature that is PEF, and a mix of those nuances I mentioned. Includes a remix/alt. version of a RANDEL .the ghost. tune. More to come from Suri possibly later this year ~~

In the Bathroom w/Mikie Mayo & People Eating Fruit
A fun bop between a bunch a buds during the summer of 2019. After Mikie reached out to me for instrumentals and picked this one from a batch of unreleased music. A reinterpretation of “I Know You” that features on the Album “PlotNights24” with lyrics written by Mikie & PEF in about a day. Whimsical and silly, packed with multiple layers of harmonies.
